The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 31-26. But BC Nizhny Novgorod won second period 25-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for Unics Kazan especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. Anton Ponkrashov (200-86, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) stepped up and scored 26 points (perfect behind the arc making all six shots !!!) for the winners and American forward Latavius Williams (202-91, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 10 points and 7 rebounds. Semen Antonov (202-89, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) responded with 27 points and 7 rebounds and guard Evgeny Baburin (190-87) scored 17 points and 6 steals.
