The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 21-16. But Stelmet won second period 26-23. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. EnBW Ludwigsburg made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. American forward Jon Brockman (201-87, college: Washington) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 17 rebounds. His fellow American import Roderick Trice (185-84, college: S.Carolina) contributed with 14 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Four EnBW Ludwigsburg players scored in double figures. Swingman Mateusz Ponitka (197-93) answered with 16 points and 9 rebounds and Romanian Vlad Moldoveanu (206-88, college: American, agency: Beo Basket) added 17 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) in the effort for Stelmet. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
