Keltern upset Valosun in Brno and clinched their regular season appearance. The game without a history. Gruner Stern Keltern led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Valosun Brno to just 6 points in second quarter. Gruner Stern Keltern dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Valosun Brno's 22. Gruner Stern Keltern forced 22 Valosun Brno turnovers and outrebounded them 44-27 including 30 on the defensive glass. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Serbian Marina Markovic (185-91) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points and 9 rebounds. American guard Jasmine Thomas (170-91, college: Michigan St.) contributed with 17 points and 5 assists for the winners. Eva Kopecka (173-96) replied with 16 points and forward Tereza Peckova (190-87) added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Valosun Brno. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
