Regular Season Round 4: CSKA - Unics 98-80

Euroleague top team - CSKA (4-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat fifteenth ranked Unics Kazan (0-4) in Moscow 98-80. The game without a history. CSKA led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. CSKA outrebounded Unics Kazan 36-25 including 26 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. CSKA players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Serbian point guard Milos Teodosic (195-87) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 assists for the winners. American guard Cory Higgins (195-89, college: Colorado) chipped in 14 points. American Keith Langford (193-83, college: Kansas) produced 36 points (!!!) and Spanish point guard Joaquin Colom (188-88, college: Forca Lleida, agency: Interperformances) added 12 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. CSKA have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending Russia champion maintains first position with 4-0 record, which they share with Fenerbahce. Unics Kazan at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. CSKA will have a break next round. Unics Kazan will play on the road against the league's second-placed Fenerbahce (#2) in Istanbul and hopes to get finally their first victory.
