Regular Season Round 3: Wisla Can-Pack - Familia Schio 75-76

A very close game took place in Krakow between Italian Familia Schio and Polish Wisla Can-Pack. Familia Schio (2-1) got a very close victory on the road over Wisla Can-Pack (0-3). Familia Schio managed to escape with a 1-point win 76-75 on Wednesday evening. The guests trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 21-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Familia Schio outrebounded Wisla Can-Pack 41-29 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a great evening for French center Isabelle Yacoubou (190-86, agency: Comsport) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Giorgia Sottana (178-88, agency: Two Points) helped adding 17 points and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was Chilean center Ziomara Morrison (194-89) with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and center Ewelina Kobryn (193-82) scored 15 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Wisla Can-Pack players scored in double figures. Familia Schio will meet at home Mersin BSB (#6) in the next round. Wisla Can-Pack will play against UNI Gyor and hopes to get finally their first victory.
