It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of CSKA. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Darussafaka made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. 26 personal fouls committed by CSKA helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Brad Wanamaker (193-89, college: Pittsburgh) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. His fellow American import James Anderson (198-89, college: Oklahoma St.) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Darussafaka have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Real Madrid. Defending Russia champion CSKA still keeps top position with one game lost. Darussafaka is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Galatasaray (#16) in Istanbul in the next round which should be an easy win for them. CSKA will play at home against Zalgiris (#14) and is hoping to win this game.
