The game without a history. Real Madrid led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. American power forward Anthony Randolph (211-89, college: LSU) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. Sergio Llull (190-87) contributed with 20 points and 7 assists for the winners. American-Montenegrin point guard Tyrese Rice (185-87, college: Boston Coll.) replied with 23 points and 5 assists and Cypriot-Bulgarian Alexander Vezenkov (206-95) added 5 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for FC Barcelona. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending Spanish champion maintains second position with 6-2 record behind leader CSKA. FC Barcelona at the other side keeps the seventh place with four games lost. Real Madrid's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Unics Kazan (#16) at home which should be another easy win for them. FC Barcelona will play against Galatasaray (#15) in Istanbul and hope to win that game.
