Euroleague top team - Russian CSKA (10-1) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat twelfth ranked Italian Armani Milano (4-7) 79-64. Armani Milano was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 43-26 second half run of CSKA. It was a quality performance for American guard Aaron Jackson (190-86, college: Duquesne) who led the winners and scored 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Swingman Dmitrii Kulagin (197-92, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) accounted for 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. American-Georgian guard Richard Hickman (189-85, college: NC-Greensboro) came up with 10 points and American forward Jamel McLean (203-88, college: Xavier, agency: BeoBasket) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Armani Milano in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. CSKA have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending Russian champion maintains first place with 10-1 record. Armani Milano lost fourth consecutive game. Defending Italian champion dropped to the eleventh position with seven games lost. They share it with Zalgiris and Crvena Zvezda. CSKA will play against FC Barcelona (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Armani Milano will play against Galatasaray in Istanbul and hopes to get back on the winning track.
