There was an upset in Bamberg where higher ranked Turkish Anadolu Efes (6-6) were defeated by fifteenth ranked German Brose Baskets (4-8) 91-83 on Thursday. The game without a history. Brose Baskets led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The best player for the winners was French Fabien Causeur (195-87) who scored 28 points (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). American guard Darius Miller (202-90, college: Kentucky) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. Brose Baskets' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Derrick Brown (203-87, college: Xavier) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and Uruguayan-Italian guard Jayson Granger (189-89) added 23 points respectively.
