Regular Season Round 7: Dynamo K. - UNI Gyor 90-55

Euroleague top team - Russian Dynamo Kursk (7-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventh ranked Hungarian UNI Gyor (1-6) 90-55. The game without a history. Dynamo Kursk led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to UNI Gyor's 34. They outrebounded UNI Gyor 39-27 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Dynamo Kursk players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Center Maria Vadeeva (193-98) fired 22 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (perfect from the field making all eleven shots !!!) for the winners. American Angel McCoughtry (187-86, college: Louisville) chipped in 22 points and 6 rebounds. Slovakian power forward Zofia Hruscakova (190-95) produced 15 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Brianna Kiesel (170-93, college: Pittsburgh) added 8 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dynamo Kursk maintains first place in Group A with 7-0 record. UNI Gyor at the other side keeps the seventh position with six games lost. Dynamo Kursk's next round opponent will be Wisla Can-Pack (#6) in Krakow which should be theoretically another easy game. UNI Gyor will play on the road against USK Praha and hope to win that game.
