Euroleague top team - Russian CSKA (13-4) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed fifteenth ranked Italian Armani Milano (4-13) in Moscow 101-64. The game without a history. CSKA led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Armani Milano's 30 and made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. CSKA forced 23 Armani Milano turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was French Nando De Colo (196-87) who scored 22 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Serbian point guard Milos Teodosic (195-87) chipped in 10 points and 7 assists. Five CSKA players scored in double figures. Serbian Milan Macvan (206-89) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and Croatian swingman Krunoslav Simon (197-85) added 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending Russian champion maintains first place with 13-4 record. Armani Milano lost tenth consecutive game. Defending Italian champion dropped to the bottom position with 13 games lost. CSKA will meet at home Brose Baskets (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Armani Milano will play against Galatasaray (#15) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
