Girona topped Wasserburg to comfortably advance into the next round of playoffs. TSV 1880 Wasserburg trailed by 23 points at halftime and as many as 26 after three quarters before a 27-9 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 71-79 at the end of the game. Argon Uni Girona dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to TSV 1880 Wasserburg's 32. They outrebounded TSV 1880 Wasserburg 44-30 including a 34-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Argon Uni Girona looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Leonor Rodriguez Manso (180-91, college: Florida St.) who scored 17 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Nigerian-American Ifunanya Ibekwe (187-89, college: Arizona, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Argon Uni Girona's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Rebecca Tobin (195-88, college: Arizona St.) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals and Belarusian point guard Alexandra Tarasava (171-88) added 18 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests.
