Yakin Dogu outgunned Venezia at home and celebrated victory on aggregate. The game was mostly controlled by Yakin Dogu BGD. Venezia was better in second period 17-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Venezia to just 4 points in first quarter. They outrebounded Venezia 39-28 including a 28-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. American-Romanian power forward Ashley Walker (187-87, college: California) replied with 12 points and 6 rebounds and Slovakian center Marie Ruzickova (190-86, agency: LBM Management) added 12 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Venezia. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
