Euroleague top team - Russian Dynamo Kursk (14-0) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed eighth ranked Hungarian UNI Gyor (1-13) 84-49. The game without a history. Dynamo Kursk led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding UNI Gyor to just 6 points in first quarter. Dynamo Kursk made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. They outrebounded UNI Gyor 45-23 including a 30-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Dynamo Kursk looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was power forward Tatiana Vidmer (191-86) who scored 18 points. Nigerian-American power forward Nneka Ogwumike (189-90, college: Stanford) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. American guard Brianna Kiesel (170-93, college: Pittsburgh) produced 14 points and 4 assists and Belarusian swingman Tatsiana Likhtarovich (180-88) added 8 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dynamo Kursk maintains first position in Group A with 14-0 record. UNI Gyor at the other side stay at the bottom place with 13 games lost.
