No shocking result in a game in Moscow where second ranked Russian CSKA (20-7) defeated 9th ranked Turkish Darussafaka (13-14) 95-85. The game was mostly controlled by CSKA. Darussafaka was better in third quarter 27-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. CSKA had a 30-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Darussafaka's players. CSKA brought some defensive toughness making 10 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for Serbian point guard Milos Teodosic (195-87) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). French Nando De-Colo (196-87) accounted for 17 points and 8 assists for the winning side. Four Darussafaka players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending Russian champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Real Madrid. Darussafaka at the other side keeps the ninth place with 14 games lost. CSKA's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Unics Kazan (#16) on the road which should be an easy win for them. Darussafaka will play against Galatasaray (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
