Semi-Finals Game 2: Yakin Dogu BGD - Galatasaray 81-68

Yakin Dogu held off Galatasaray to sweep the semifinal series. The game was mostly controlled by Yakin Dogu BGD. Galatasaray managed to win third quarter 22-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Yakin Dogu BGD dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Galatasaray's 34. The best player for the winners was American guard Kayla McBride (180-92, college: Notre Dame) who scored 24 points and 6 rebounds. American-Hungarian point guard Courtney Vandersloot (173-89, college: Gonzaga) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points, 5 rebounds, 12 assists and 4 steals. Five Yakin Dogu BGD players scored in double figures. Yakin Dogu BGD's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard Moriah Jefferson (170-94, college: Connecticut) produced 20 points and 6 assists and Senegalese power forward Astou Traore (182-81, agency: ProDep Management) added 21 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests.
