An interesting game was also a 17-point home loss of German Brose Baskets in a game in Bamberg versus undefeated Israeli Maccabi T-A 88-71. Brose Baskets were trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 33-12 charge of Maccabi T-A, which allowed them to win the game. American point guard Pierre Jackson (180-91, college: Baylor) nailed 27 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists (perfect behind the arc making all five shots) for the winning side and American-Tunisian Michael Roll (198-87, college: UCLA) accounted for 16 points. Greek point guard Nikolaos Zisis (197-83, agency: Octagon Europe) came up with 16 points and 5 assists and Croatian-German center Leon Radosevic (207-90, agency: BeoBasket) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Brose Baskets in the defeat. Four Brose Baskets players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Maccabi T-A will meet at home Baskonia (#13) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Brose Baskets will play against Panathinaikos (#16) in Athens and hope to win that game.
