Regular Season Round 2: Dynamo K. - Villeneuve 83-68

Dynamo Kursk used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Villeneuve 83-68 on Wednesday night. The game was mostly controlled by Dynamo Kursk. Villeneuve D'Ascq was better in third quarter 21-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Dynamo Kursk made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. DR Congolese power forward Pauline Akonga-Nsimbo (188-82, agency: LBM Management) replied with 16 points and 5 rebounds and Johanne Gomis-Halilovic (179-85) added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Villeneuve D'Ascq. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dynamo Kursk will face Sopron Basket on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Villeneuve D'Ascq will play against Castors Braine and hope to win that game.
