Regular Season Round 3: Real Madrid - EA7 Armani 100-90

Very expected game when Italian Armani Milano (0-3) was defeated on the road by Spanish Real Madrid (3-0) 100-90 on Tuesday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Real Madrid made 27-of-32 free shots (84.4 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Armani Milano was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Slovenian guard Luka Doncic (201-99) who scored 27 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Argentinian point guard Facundo Campazzo (181-91) chipped in 14 points and 6 assists. Real Madrid's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Lithuanian power forward Arturas Gudaitis (211-93) who recorded 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!) and American guard Andrew Goudelock (190-88, college: Charleston) added 20 points respectively. Five Real Madrid and four Armani Milano players scored in double figures. Real Madrid will face Zalgiris (#7) in Kaunas in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Armani Milano will play at home against FC Barcelona (#9) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
