Italian Armani Milano's fans can celebrate the first win of their team after three consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked Spanish FC Barcelona (1-3) 78-74. FC Barcelona was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American-FYR Macedonian point guard Jordan Theodore (182-89, college: Seton Hall) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and American center Kaleb Tarczewski (213-93, college: Arizona) who added 11 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side French point guard Thomas Heurtel (189-89, agency: BeoBasket) responded with 13 points and 7 assists and Juan-Carlos Navarro (192-80) scored 13 points. FC Barcelona's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Armani Milano left bottom position moving up to twelfth place, which they share with FC Barcelona and Unicaja. It was FC Barcelona's third loss in a row. Armani Milano will play against higher ranked Maccabi T-A (#6) in Tel-Aviv in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. FC Barcelona will play at home against the league's second-placed Olympiacos (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
