Euroleague top team - Russian CSKA (9-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat eighth ranked German Brose Baskets (5-6) in Bamberg 92-76. The game without a history. CSKA led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. CSKA outrebounded Brose Baskets 34-21 including 23 on the defensive glass. It was a quality performance for French Nando De-Colo (196-87) who led the winners and scored 20 points and 4 assists. American Will Clyburn (201-90, college: Iowa St.) accounted for 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Five CSKA players scored in double figures. American Augustine Rubit (201-89, college: S.Alabama) came up with 16 points and American-Georgian Richard Hickman (189-85, college: NC-Greensboro) added 13 points respectively for Brose Baskets in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. CSKA have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending Russian champion maintains first place with 9-2 record, which they share with Olympiacos. Defending German champion Brose Baskets keep the eighth position with six games lost. They share it with Real Madrid and Baskonia. CSKA will play against Maccabi T-A (#5) in Tel-Aviv in the next round. Brose Baskets will play at home against the league's second-placed Olympiacos and hope to get back on the winning track.
