The game was mostly controlled by Gran Canaria. ALBA Berlin was better in fourth quarter 22-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Gran Canaria made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Gran Canaria especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. Guard Oriol Pauli (201-94) chipped in 12 points and 4 assists. Five Gran Canaria players scored in double figures. American forward Luke Sikma (203-89, college: Portland) produced 27 points and 7 rebounds (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field) and the other American import point guard Peyton Siva (183-90, college: Louisville) added 16 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games.
