The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 84-65. Darussafaka dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Galatasaray's 38. They outrebounded Galatasaray 46-23 including a 14-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. American power forward JaJuan Johnson (208-89, college: Purdue) fired a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Cuban forward Howard Sant-Roos (200-91) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. American-Congolese Dwight Hardy (188-87, college: St.John's) produced 15 points and American DaJuan Summers (203-88, college: Georgetown) added 11 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games.
