No shocking result in a game when third ranked Czech USK Praha (6-4) defeated on the road bottom-ranked Polish CCC Polkowice (2-8) 61-51 on Wednesday. USK Praha forced 23 CCC Polkowice turnovers. Strangely CCC Polkowice outrebounded USK Praha 40-26 including 30 on the defensive glass. American guard DeWanna Bonner (193-87, college: Auburn, agency: ProDep Management) fired 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Swedish center Amanda Bazoukou (196-93, college: Minnesota) chipped in 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Israeli-American forward Alysha Clark (178-87, college: Middle Tenn.St.) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and Croatian forward Antonija Sandric (181-88, agency: 1x1 Sports) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Defending Czech champion moved-up to second place in Group A, which they share with Sopron Basket. CCC Polkowice lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with eight games lost. USK Praha will face league's leader Dynamo Kursk at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. CCC Polkowice will play against Bourges (#4) and hope to win that game.
