Mersin snatched a narrow win in Riga to sweep TTT. TTT Riga was ahead by 12 points after three quarters before a 21-8 charge of Mersin BSB, which allowed them to win the game. Bosnian-Slovenian power forward Marica Gajic (187-95) notched a double-double by scoring 13 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and American center Krystal Thomas (195-89, college: Duke) supported her with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Even 14 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists by American guard Sheylani Peddy (170-88, college: Temple, agency: LBM Management) did not help to save the game for TTT Riga. Forward Gunta Basko-Melnbarde (181-80, college: Siena) added 13 points and 11 rebounds for the hosts. Four TTT Riga players scored in double figures.
