Girona cruised past Ragusa in the opener. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 87-61. Argon Uni Girona dominated on the defensive end, holding Ragusa to just 6 points in third quarter. They outrebounded Ragusa 41-25 including 30 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Argon Uni Girona especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Guard Roso Buch (179-92) stepped up and scored 14 points and 5 assists for the winners and French point guard Magali Mendy (178-90, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds.
