Unics held off Bayern Munich to force the decisive third game in the series. The hosts trailed by 10 points at the halftime before their 50-33 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Unics Kazan made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was Spanish guard Joaquin Colom (188-88, college: Forca Lleida, agency: Interperformances) who scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Gabonese forward Stephane Lasme (203-82, college: Massachusetts) chipped in 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks. Four Unics Kazan players scored in double figures. American center Devin Booker (205-91, college: Clemson) produced 29 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and his fellow American import guard Jared Cunningham (194-91, college: Oregon St., agency: BeoBasket) added 8 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
