Very predictable result in Kaunas where seventh ranked Lithuanian Zalgiris (16-11) beat 13th ranked Italian Armani Milano (9-18) 77-65 on Tuesday. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 46-31 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Zalgiris dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Armani Milano's 32. Loser Armani Milano dropped to the fourteenth position with 18 games lost. They share it with FC Barcelona. Zalgiris will meet Real Madrid (#4) on the road in the next round. Armani Milano will play against Valencia Basket (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
