Regular Season Round 1: Buducnost - AX Armani 71-82

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Montenegrin Buducnost (0-1) in Podgorica on Friday night. Hosts were defeated by Italian Armani Milano (1-0) 82-71. The game was mostly controlled by Armani Milano. Buducnost managed to win third quarter 20-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Armani Milano shot 60.4 percent from the field. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian point guard Nemanja Nedovic (191-91, agency: BeoBasket) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Serbian Vladimir Micov (201-85, agency: BeoBasket) contributed with 15 points for the winners. American Earl Clark (208-88, college: Louisville, agency: BeoBasket) answered with 22 points and 5 rebounds and guard Nikola Ivanovic (190-94, agency: BeoBasket) added 11 points and 6 assists in the effort for Buducnost. Five Armani Milano and four Buducnost players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Armani Milano is looking forward to face Real Madrid at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Buducnost will play against Darussafaka (#14) in Istanbul and is hoping to win this game.
