The game in Barcelona supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Turkish Fenerbahce (8-1) played at the court of 5th ranked Spanish FC Barcelona (6-3). Fenerbahce did not have too big problems ending evening with a very confident victory 84-65 on Friday. The game without a history. Fenerbahce led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Czech power forward Jan Vesely (213-90) notched 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and American-Turkish guard Bobby Dixon (178-83, college: Troy, agency: BeoBasket) supported him with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four Fenerbahce players scored in double figures. Even 16 points and 6 rebounds by Hungarian Adam Hanga (199-89, agency: Octagon Europe) did not help to save the game for FC Barcelona. Power forward Pierre Oriola (206-92) added 9 points for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fenerbahce have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending Turkish champion maintains second position with 8-1 record behind leader CSKA. FC Barcelona at the other side keeps the fifth place with three games lost. Fenerbahce will meet Panathinaikos (#7) in the next round where they are favorite. FC Barcelona will play against Buducnost in Podgorica and hope to secure a win.
