Regular Season Round 11: Buducnost - FC Barcelona 67-64

Important game to mention about took place in Podgorica. Fourteenth ranked Montenegrin Buducnost (2-8) saved a 3-point victory at home edging higher ranked Spanish FC Barcelona (6-4) 67-64 on Thursday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. FC Barcelona was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. It was a great evening for Bosnian point guard Nemanja Gordic (193-88, agency: BeoBasket) who led his team to a victory scoring 12 points and 5 rebounds. American Earl Clark (208-88, college: Louisville, agency: BeoBasket) helped adding 12 points and 5 rebounds. Hungarian Adam Hanga (199-89, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 12 points and 6 rebounds and American Chris Singleton (206-89, college: Florida St.) scored 8 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Buducnost maintains fourteenth place with 2-8 record, which they share with Maccabi T-A. FC Barcelona at the other side keeps the fifth position with four games lost. Buducnost will face higher ranked Gran Canaria (#12) in Las Palmas in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. FC Barcelona will play on the road against Real Madrid (#3) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
