It looked good early as Partizan took a 5-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then ALBA Berlin had a 29-11 second period charge getting the lead and Partizan was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 74-97. ALBA Berlin made 17-of-18 charity shots (94.4 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Partizan turnovers. They shot the lights out from three nailing 16 long-distance shots on high 61.5 percentage. ALBA Berlin players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. American forward Luke Sikma (202-89, college: Portland) notched 8 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the effort and Lithuanian Rokas Giedraitis (201-92) supported him with 19 points. Four ALBA Berlin players scored in double figures. Even 18 points by Vanja Marinkovic (197-97, agency: Octagon Europe) did not help to save the game for Partizan. Australian center Jock Landale (211-95, college: St.Mary's, CA) added 11 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
