1/8 Finals Round 1: Lyon - Tarbes 95-68

Lyon stepped closer to the next round as they beat Tarbes. The game was mostly controlled by Lyon. Tarbes managed to win third quarter 20-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Tarbes 42-25 including 28 on the defensive glass. Lyon shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 63.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Tarbes' players. Brazilian center Clarissa Dos-Santos (185-88) nailed a double-double by scoring 17 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and Canadian forward Michelle Plouffe (193-92, college: Utah, agency: Basket Promotion Agency) accounted for 18 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Lyon players scored in double figures. Lyon's coach felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American-Ukrainian DAndra Moss (178-88, college: VCU) came up with 14 points and 5 assists and American swingman Alexis Prince (188-94, college: Baylor, agency: LBM Management) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Tarbes in the defeat.
