Lyon upset Tarbes on the road to ease into the next round of playoffs. The game without a history. Lyon led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Tarbes to just 6 points in third quarter. Lyon forced 19 Tarbes turnovers. Belgian point guard Julie Allemand (173-96, agency: LBM Management) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points and 5 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Canadian forward Michelle Plouffe (193-92, college: Utah, agency: Basket Promotion Agency) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Marine Fauthoux (173-1) replied with 12 points and 6 rebounds and forward Margaux Galliou-Loko (183-93, agency: Octagon Europe) added 9 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Tarbes. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
