Lattes Montpellier upset Flammes on the road to move closer to semifinal stage. The game without a history. Lattes Montpellier led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Lattes Montpellier outrebounded Flammes 40-28 including 32 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Taylor Wurtz (183-90, college: Wisconsin) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Diandra Tchatchouang (189-91, college: Maryland) contributed with 18 points and 4 assists for the winners. Lattes Montpellier's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Haley Peters (190-92, college: Duke) answered with 28 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) and Slovakian power forward Zofia Hruscakova (190-95) added 16 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Flammes. Four Flammes players scored in double figures.
