ALBA stormed past Unicaja to even the series at 1-1. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 101-81. ALBA Berlin shot 61.3 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 56.5 percentage. ALBA Berlin looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Lithuanian Rokas Giedraitis (201-92) notched 23 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and American forward Luke Sikma (202-89, college: Portland) supported him with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. ALBA Berlin's coach used an eleven-player rotation saving starting five for next games. Even 13 points and 9 assists by American point guard Brian Roberts (187-85, college: Dayton) did not help to save the game for Unicaja Malaga. Georgian center Giorgi Shermadini (217-89) added 15 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) for the hosts. Four ALBA Berlin and five Unicaja Malaga players scored in double figures.
