There was a minor upset in Pireus where 8th ranked Greek Olympiacos (14-15) were defeated by eleventh ranked Lithuanian Zalgiris (14-15) 72-68 on Friday. The guests trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 24-17 charge, which allowed them to win the game. American center Brandon Davies (208-91, college: BYU, agency: BeoBasket) stepped up and scored 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and French guard Leo Westermann (198-92, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 11 points.
