Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Italian Armani Milano (3-1) defeated at home 13th ranked Turkish Fenerbahce (1-3) 87-74 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Armani Milano. Fenerbahce managed to win third quarter 26-25. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Armani Milano made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. The winners were led by Spanish point guard Sergio Rodriguez (191-86) who scored that evening 22 points and 5 assists and Lithuanian center Arturas Gudaitis (211-93) supported him with 17 points and 5 rebounds. Even 14 points and 8 rebounds by French power forward Joffrey Lauvergne (210-91, agency: BeoBasket) did not help to save the game for Fenerbahce.
