The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Italian Armani Milano as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Armani Milano defeated 4th placed Israeli Maccabi T-A at home 92-88. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Maccabi T-A. It was a key game for the top position in the league.
