Everything went according to plan when third ranked Spanish FC Barcelona (11-3) beat at home 9th ranked French ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (6-8) 80-67 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by FC Barcelona. ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket was better in third quarter 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
