Atomeromu held off visiting Gernika but came up short on aggregate. Gernika was trailing by 6 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 22-14 charge of Atomeromu, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 20 Gernika turnovers. Croatian Ivana Dojkic (180-97, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. American forward Erica McCall (190-95, college: Stanford) contributed with 20 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Atomeromu players scored in double figures. American guard Blake Dietrick (178-93, college: Princeton, agency: LBM Management) replied with 21 points and 9 assists and her fellow American import swingman Julie Wojta (183-89, college: Green Bay, agency: LBM Management) added 14 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Gernika. Gernika's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
