It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Unics Kazan's pressure prevailed and they won that period 25-19 extending their advantage to 13 points. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. Unics Kazan looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Jamar Smith (191-87, college: S.Indiana, agency: Inception Sports) who scored 24 points. His fellow American import guard Errick McCollum (188-88, college: Goshen) chipped in 12 points and 8 assists. Mexican guard Francisco Cruz (191-89, college: Wyoming) produced 14 points and power forward Evaldas Kairys (207-90) added 7 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Rytas' coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
