Valencia completed the sweep of Gernika with a comfortable home win. Gernika was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 43-19 second half run of Valencia. It was a great shooting night for Valencia especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. American forward Joy Brown (180-93, college: Iona) scored 13 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Anna Gomez (181-86) chipped in 7 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Serbian center Nikolina Milic (191-94) responded with 17 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Blake Dietrick (178-93, college: Princeton, agency: LBM Management) scored 10 points and 8 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
