One of the most interesting games of round 2 was a derby match between two teams from Germany. Bayern Muenchen won against host ALBA Berlin 90-72. The guests trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 16-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 90-72. Bayern Muenchen shot 61.4 percent from the field.
