Semi-Finals Game 2: Gran Canaria - Monaco 74-76

Rob Gray sank a buzzer-beater and carried Monaco past Gran Canaria on the road. Monaco therefore swept the semifinal series and reached the Finals. It looked good early as Gran Canaria took a 5-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Monaco had a 24-9 second period charge getting the lead and Gran Canaria was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 74-76. American swingman Marcos Knight (188-89, college: MTSU, agency: BeoBasket) scored 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Damien Inglis (204-95, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four Monaco players scored in double figures. Nigerian-American Stan Okoye (198-91, college: VMI) responded with 15 points and 5 rebounds and American power forward Matt Costello (206-93, college: Michigan St.) scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Gran Canaria's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
