Regular Season Round 21: Barca - Anadolu Efes 82-77

Euroleague top team - Spanish Barca (16-4) added another victory to their record. This time they beat eighth ranked Turkish Efes (9-10) in Barcelona 82-77. Efes were ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 42-36 second half run of Barca. They made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Turkish center Sertac Sanli (213-91) stepped up and scored 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and Nikola Mirotic (208-91) chipped in 15 points. The best for the losing side was Serbian point guard Vasilije Micic (196-94, agency: BeoBasket) with 18 points and American-Turkish guard Shane Larkin (182-92, college: Miami, FL) scored 17 points and 4 assists. Four Efes players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Defending Spanish champion maintains first place with 16-4 record. Defending Turkish champion Efes keep the eighth position with ten games lost. Barca will play against Unics (#7) in Kazan in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Efes will play at home against Panathinaikos and hope to get back on the winning track.
