Another exciting game for German ALBA Berlin which played on the court of Italian Milano. ALBA Berlin won 80-74. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Israeli point guard Tamir Blatt (178-1997) scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American-Croatian Jaleen Smith (190-1994, college: UNH) chipped in 13 points and 4 assists during the contest. Danish Shavon Shields (201-1994, college: Nebraska) responded with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Canadian-Slovenian point guard Kevin Pangos (186-1993, college: Gonzaga) scored 16 points. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. ALBA Berlin will play against Panathinaikos in Athens in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Milano will play on the road against Partizan in Beograd to get more than just one victory in their record.
