But Valencia was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Praha 83-76 on Wednesday night. The best player for the winners was French forward Valeriane Vukosavljevic (183-1994) who scored 33 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds. American forward Alyssa Thomas (188-1992, college: Maryland) chipped in a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. American forward Lauren Cox (193-1998, college: Baylor, agency: LBM Management) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and German center Marie Guelich (194-1994, college: Oregon St.) added 18 points respectively for the hosts. USK Praha will meet Bourges on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Valencia will play against Szekszard and hope to win that game.
