There was a minor upset when higher ranked Italian Milano (3-3) was defeated at home by thirteenth ranked Spanish Real Madrid (3-3) 83-77 on Thursday. Real Madrid outrebounded Milano 38-20 including a 31-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Bosnian swingman Dzanan Musa (205-1999, agency: BeoBasket) who scored 25 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Cape Verdean-Spanish center Walter Tavares (220-1992) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Canadian-Slovenian point guard Kevin Pangos (186-1993, college: Gonzaga) who recorded 21 points and Greek-Canadian point guard Nazareth Mitrou-Long (193-1993, college: Iowa St., agency: BeoBasket) added 11 points and 4 assists respectively.
