Galatasaray made a huge step towards the Finals as they rallied past Venezia at home court. Galatasaray forced 21 Venezia turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Teaira McCowan (201-1996, college: MSU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 16 rebounds. Guard Isil Alben (170-1986) contributed with 8 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American forward Jessica Shepard (193-1996, college: Notre Dame) answered with 20 points and 7 rebounds and guard Mariella Santucci (170-1997, college: Toledo) added 9 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Venezia. Venezia's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win.
